Here we go!

I am so excited for my first blog post! This blog isn't pretty (yet) and I don't have a TpT store, (not sure if I ever will) but I am excited to start! There are so many great bloggers out there that have helped me on this journey called kindergarten, and someday I hope to do the same (along with sharing a laugh or two...)  Today, I'll just share a little about myself. I will start my 19th year teaching in the fall and it will also be my second year in kindergarten--yep, 17 years in the upper grades before making the big move to kindergarten. I started college as an ECE major thinking I would be a kindergarten teacher right away, but then things happen and I ended up teaching mostly fourth grade (I actually have taught every grade K-6 now except second.)  I was getting majorly burned out when one of our Kindergarten teachers announced her retirement. I swear it was divine intervention that planted the idea of changing grade levels again, and even though ALL my friends thought I was crazy, I asked my principal if I could switch...and there you have it, finally in the grade level I thought I'd always be in, just 18 years later. So that is where the blog name Full Circle Kinders comes from. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
